FITNESS AROUND FAMILY LIFE

The next workout should
already be decided.

Work runs late. Bedtime moves. A gym visit needs travel time as well as training time. A written home session gives you a place to begin when a workable gap appears.

A workable window: a weekly planner with household tasks around a small open time slot
Find a workable window. Have the session ready.
Leave out the travel: dumbbells and a mat at home beside an illustrative road to a gym
Train at home without adding the journey.

A shorter window opens up.

Choose the 15-minute version on the session page. Its preparation and rest are included in the estimate. Take more time if you need it.

Another workout search eats the time.

Open the next session in the sequence. The exercise order and repetitions are written down, with alternatives in the movement reference.

The home setup needs to stay manageable.

Use suitable dumbbells and a clear floor area. Arrange childcare separately before lifting. The plan also explains when to use a bodyweight alternative.

INSIDE FIT IN THE GAP

A plan you can open
and use.

The guide puts the workout beside the instructions you need for it. Read the setup pages first, then keep your place in the session sequence.

Two written options. Choose before you start, and take extra rest when needed.

Estimates, not deadlines. Allow extra time for setup, rest or a safe pause.

01

Start with your home setup

Choose suitable weights, clear a small working space and arrange childcare before the first session. Read the stop rules first.

02

Follow your four-week starting sequence

Use 12 numbered sessions with recovery days built in. Repeat or adjust using the progression guidance, and spread the programme over longer when needed.

03

Choose the time option that fits

Each session has estimated 15- and 25-minute options. A separate 10-minute fallback can replace a planned slot before you start; it does not complete the numbered workout.

04

Read the movement instructions

Ten movement-reference cards explain setup, technique and simpler options. Use bodyweight or suitable alternatives where appropriate for your ability and equipment.

05

Keep everyday food practical

Read general nutrition guidance with balanced-meal ideas, varied protein options and simple meals and snacks. No calorie target or promised weight-loss result.

06

Track what happened and keep your place

Record weights, repetitions and how the session felt. Use the printable programme overview and six-page tracker pack for chosen habits, workout logs and weekly reflections.

A PRACTICAL PLACE TO START

Keep the guide close.
Keep your place.

Keep your place after a break: a bookmark marks the continuation of a path after a gap
Continue the sequence after a break. No catch-up sessions.
RECOVERY STAYS IN THE PLAN
  1. SessionA
  2. At least one
    full rest day
  3. SessionB
  4. At least one
    full rest day
  5. SessionC

Keep the order when dates move. Leave a full rest day before the next strength session.

The session fits on a page.

Find the exercises without hunting through a long video. Refer back to the movement instructions when you need more detail.

There is a next session.

The supplied sequence gives the week a starting shape. Recovery days stay part of the plan, even when the calendar changes.

Shorter days have a written option.

Pick the shorter version before starting. Extra rest always takes priority over finishing inside the time estimate.

It works as a standalone guide.

Read the PDF on a phone or keep a printed session nearby. No app subscription is required to use the material.

DETAILS BEFORE YOU BEGIN

Common questions.

What is included in the bundle?

Three PDFs: the illustrated 46-page Fit in the Gap guide, a one-page printable programme overview and a six-page printable tracker pack. The guide includes 12 sessions, 15- and 25-minute options, ten movement cards, a separate 10-minute fallback, nutrition guidance and restart notes. It is a one-time digital purchase. Equipment, printed books, videos, coaching and app access are not included. After a completed purchase, Payhip provides your download page and emails a receipt with the download link.

How do the 12 sessions fit into four weeks?

Four programme weeks organise the 12 sessions; they are not a four-calendar-week deadline. Three sessions a week can follow the sequence with full rest days between strength sessions. If two sessions suit you better, continue in order over six or more calendar weeks. Do not double up to catch up.

Do I need 25 minutes every time?

Each numbered session offers estimated 15- and 25-minute options, including preparation and rest. Take extra time when needed. The separate 10-minute fallback is chosen before starting when the planned slot cannot fit. It replaces that slot, leaves the numbered session unfinished and is followed by a full rest day before the next strength session.

What equipment do I need?

One suitable pair of dumbbells, a stable chair and a clear space at home. A fixed pair may be too heavy for one movement and too light for another. Bodyweight and simpler options are explained where appropriate. Choose loads for your ability; the mockup is illustrative and equipment is not included.

Is this suitable for every parent, and do I need an app?

This is general adult fitness and nutrition education, not a personalised medical, dietary or rehabilitation plan. Individual suitability varies. Pregnancy, postpartum recovery, injury and medical conditions may require individual advice. The guide stands alone and does not include app access or video demonstrations.
